fire eater college

certificated training

At Fire Eater, we place high priority on training our partners. At our training centre, “Fire Eater College”, we have developed training and teaching courses that provide you with the best qualifications for achieving success in selling Inergen systems from Fire Eater.

We offer two training courses for:

Service technician

The course ensures that both experts and less experienced installers acquire the right competencies. We take you through all the key elements relating to both installation and servicing of Inergen systems.

Upon course completion, you will be able to deliver service to customers quickly, easily and safely. We have digitalised some parts of the course to make it easier to fit in with your schedule.

The course consists of three parts:

  1. An approximately 5-hour e-learning course that guides you through the product and installation steps. You can take the course whenever it suits you and return to it as needed.
  2. A toolkit containing all the necessary installation tools is required prior to training.
  3. Optionally, a half-day of hands-on training, held either on your premises or at Fire Eater.

project engineers

The course is aimed at project engineers, project managers and employees within technical sales. After course completion, you will be capable of designing Inergen solutions in the IMT software.

A solution typically includes work on various design aspects, piping design, calculation of pressure relief, and dimensioning of pipes for stand-alone and multi-zone systems as well as component-list generation for use in preparing an offer. The course has been digitalised 100% to make it easy to fit into your schedule.

The course consists of two parts:

  1. An approximately 5-hour e-learning course that covers the various components and an introduction to IMT3. You can take the course whenever it suits you and return to it as needed.
  2. Two online training sessions, each lasting 2 hours, on the use of the IMT software, held virtually over Teams, or a 1-day course in small teams on your premises or at Fire Eater. The first session covers an introduction to calculating standalone systems; we will calculate some systems together to ensure that the IMT functions properly. The second session provides an introduction to multizone systems and includes calculating a 3-zone system together, followed by a Q&A session to clear up any questions you may have.
